Assistant Professor, Family Business (1 position)

Position
To meet the ambitious objectives of its Family Business Center, EDHEC Business School is recruiting an Assistant Professor in Family Business. The successful candidate is expected to provide both teaching and research for the Family Business Center. She/he will be involved in developing and delivering teaching for both academic (Bachelors, MSc and MBA) and nonacademic programs.
EDHEC Business School has several faculty members active in publishing research related to the family business field. The successful candidate would be encouraged to work together and/or foster further research initiatives with current faculty members active in such research.
Location will be on the Lille or Paris campus.

Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Management or Economics, or related fields at an accredited academic institution.
• Demonstrated ability to teach in academic programs at the Bachelor and Master’s level.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High level of fluency in English.
• (Desirable but not compulsory) Knowledge of the French language.

The Family Business Center
With a mission of sustaining family business growth, the EDHEC Family Business Center was created in 2012 with the support of well-known business families and family-owned businesses. The EDHEC Family Business Center undertakes research and training to foster innovation and quality in the governance and management of family businesses, with special focus on analyzing conditions of sustained growth in family firms. The Center provides management training that responds to the specific needs of family businesses as well as themed events at its 5 campuses (Lille, Nice, Paris, London, and Singapore) to disseminate the Center’s research and allow participants to share their experiences. The Center benefits from EDHEC Business School’s high quality faculty (134 world-class professors and researchers) and from the expertise of a dedicated team, composed of real-world experts and business leaders. The Center’s Founding Members include families such as the Mulliez family (Auchan Group), the Michelin family (Mage-Invest) and leading family businesses such as BIC Group, Clinitex, Roquette, Somfy, Oddo, Deloitte and Caisse d’Epargne Nord-France-Europe.

Associate Professor / Professor, Family Business (1 position)

Position
To meet the ambitious objectives of its Family Business Center, EDHEC Business School is recruiting an Associate Professor or Full Professor in Family Business. The successful candidate is expected to provide both teaching and research leadership for the Family Business Center. She/he will be involved in developing and delivering teaching for both academic (Bachelors, MSc and MBA) and nonacademic programs. In this position, special emphasis will be placed on development and delivery of executive education, directed towards family and non-family executives.
EDHEC Business School has several faculty members active in publishing research related to the family business field. The successful candidate would be encouraged to work together and/or foster further research initiatives with current faculty members active in such research.
He/she is also expected to work closely with the director to further overall goals to seek funds for specific projects. Such activity may include preparation of grants, as well as joint meetings with current and prospective donors to the Family Business Center.
Location will be on the Lille or Paris campus.

Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Management or Economics, or related fields at an accredited academic institution.
• A distinguished record in research scholarship, especially in the field of family business.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver executive programs, ideally to include experience in delivery of family business programs.
• Demonstrated ability to teach in academic programs at the Master’s level (especially MBA programs).
• Excellent communication skills.
• High level of fluency in English.
• (Desirable but not compulsory) Previous consulting assignments with family businesses.
• (Desirable but not compulsory) Knowledge of the French language.

Associate Professor of Practice / Professor of Practice, Management, Executive Education (2 positions)

Position
EDHEC Executive Education provides relevant and concrete responses to the new challenges facing companies and their managers.
Every year 10 000 managers and business leaders receive training at EDHEC via an extensive range of executive education programs, MBAs, Open and Custom programs, as well as courses designed for family business members and executives.

You will have overall responsibility for teaching, primarily in English, and course design in the Executive Education & MBA programs of EDHEC Business School.
Location will be on the Lille, Nice or Paris campus.

Main activities include:
  • Teaching and participant guidance: course preparation, lecturing, face-to-face meetings, correction of papers, project management, follow-up and advice, etc.
  • Moderation of high level seminars in Management, Leadership or Strategy for Executives,
  • Curriculum development: writing and publication of cases, innovative content and multimedia pedagogical notes, on-line course development,
  • Management of the daily running of some Custom Programs (proposals, client satisfaction, follow-up meetings, budgets),
  • Participation in school-wide activities (selection juries, student council meetings, career days, open house days, activities related to the Career Centre, etc.).
Qualifications
• With a graduate degree or PhD, you have a significant managerial experience (between 5 and 10 years) within an International Group, completed by an experience in a consulting/executive education firm or a Business School.
• In terms of personality, the following qualities are particularly appreciated:
o Energy, dynamism, conviction,
o Finesse and diplomacy,
o Effective communication and relational approach based on simplicity,
o Desire to do more than just showing up,
o Ambition of action rather than of climbing the career ladder,
o Personal and professional ethics.
o High level of fluency in English.
o A good command of French is a plus.

Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor, Digital Marketing-Social Media (1 position)

Position
To participate to the ambitious development of the Faculty in Marketing, EDHEC Business School is recruiting an Assistant, Associate or Professor in Digital Marketing / Social Media. The successful candidate is expected to provide teaching in various programs such as EDHEC BBA, Master in Management, Global MBA, or Executive MBA for more senior faculty including tailor-made programs for international companies.
Typically, new faculty member(s) may integrate an existing team of professors on a Marketing Management module taught at various levels, while other courses taught will be fully in line with the candidate’s research interest.
Location will be on the Lille campus.

Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Marketing.
• Evidence of publications in top-tier international journals at the Associate and Professor levels and have an international background or experience.
• Research interests should be related to e- or m-Commerce, Digital Marketing and/or Social Media.
• Applicants should also demonstrate (i) a keen interest in making an impact on business to respect EDHEC’s ‘Research for Business’ strategy and (ii) willingness to integrate a research team in order to contribute to the collaborative spirit of EDHEC’s Marketing department.

Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor, Data Driven - Big Data Marketing (1 position)

Position
To participate to the ambitious development of the Faculty in Marketing, EDHEC Business School is recruiting an Assistant, Associate or Professor in Data Driven / Big Data Marketing. The successful candidate is expected to provide teaching in various programs such as EDHEC BBA, Master in Management, Global MBA, or Executive MBA for more senior faculty including tailor-made programs for international companies.
Typically, new faculty member(s) may integrate an existing team of professors on a Marketing Management module taught at various levels, while other courses taught will be fully in line with the candidate’s research interest.
Location will be on the Lille campus.

Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Marketing.
• Evidence of publications in top-tier international journals at the Associate and Professor levels and have an international background or experience.
• Research interests should be related to CRM, forecasting, consumer/customer intelligence, and marketing modeling. In-depth knowledge of quantitative methods is thus a must.
• Applicants should also demonstrate (i) a keen interest in making an impact on business to respect EDHEC’s ‘Research for Business’ strategy and (ii) willingness to integrate a research team in order to contribute to the collaborative spirit of EDHEC’s Marketing department.

Position
To participate to the continuous development of the EDHEC Master Program, and especially its Financial Track and MSc’s in Finance, EDHEC Business School is recruiting an Associate or Professor in Corporate Finance. The successful candidate is expected to provide teaching in these programs and to participate to an intensive research agenda in Corporate Finance.
New faculty member will integrate an existing team of very reputed professors in Finance.
Location will be on the Nice campus.

• International background or experience.
